We are on our way to Seoul tomorrow morning for an extensive tour of vegan restaurants (and to see our family too! ). We’ll be blogging about it so if anyone is in Seoul and would like to get together, let us know!
Hi Guys, I just booked a last minute trip to Seoul and will be there next week. It’s my first time in Seoul and would love to try some of the veg food there. I’ve been told, veg food can be challenging. any suggestions would be fantastic.
Hi, veg. How exciting to make your first trip to Seoul! It can be a little challenging to eat veg food, but the easiest way would be to try and visit vegetarian restaurants. There are quite a few around Seoul, including 7 locations of the Loving Hut chain of restaurants. The temple food restaurants will be veg as well. A search on Happy Cow will bring up other veg restaurants. If you’re in a rush, bibimbap is always yummy, and you can ask for no meat and egg. Good luck and enjoy Seoul!
How long are you two going to be in Korea for? There’s a high possibility that I’ll be visiting Seoul this summer although nothing is planned for sure yet, so I’m not sure when and for how long yet.
Hi, Julia. We actually just got back and are trying to get over the jet lag. That’ll be awesome if you can make it to Seoul. If it does happen, be sure to let us know so we can give you some recommendations! We’ll be trying to get caught up on posts as we have a number of things we did that we haven’t posted on yet, so hopefully they should help too.
Hi, Julia!
It’s too bad that we couldn’t meet in Seoul – it would have been a ton of fun. I hope you do get to go, let us know if you have any questions about getting around or if you need any restaurant recommendations!
Ah that’s such a pity, but another time then. Well, it looks like I’ll be staying for a couple of weeks to attend a language course at a Uni in Seoul and I’ll most likely be staying in the Sinchon area, so tips and recommendations would be greatly appreciated! I probably won’t have access to a nice, well stocked kitchen so I will have to rely a great deal on vegan friendly restaurants and whatever vegan foods I can find at supermarkets :O, I’m a little worried about that to be honest. Anyways, I can’t seem to find your email address anywhere on your site? I don’t want to spam your site hehe… My email can be found on my blog if you’d like to contact me.
A blog about vegan Korean food. We share vegan Korean recipes, insights and updates on Korean culture, Kpop, Korean Dramas, our cats, our garden, and animal rights activism, but mostly it's all about the food!
