Gas Stove

November 17, 2010

So if you’re going to be making bulgogi or other Korean BBQ fairly often, it’s worth it to invest a little bit in an indoor grill. You can always use the electric kind, a George Foreman or something like that, but many of them close when they grill which is not conducive to people grabbing the food with chopsticks throughout the meal.

This little gas stove can be bought at most Asian grocery stores and definitely at the Korean stores and is usually around $20. The grill top is probably another $15-20. You buy cans of butane, and it allows you to have the grill going right on the table as everyone eats, as a proper Korean should!
