PETA and HSUS 2010 year in review

PETA and the Humane Society of the United States review some of their victories for animals during 2010. Unfortunately, Indiana tends to be behind a lot of states in regards to legislation for animal rights. Sunnie and I took a day to speak with our representatives on several important bills being considered in Indiana, including puppy mills and coyote penning, where the coyotes are hunted in a fenced in enclosure with no hope of survival or escape.

Take a look at the important work these two excellent organizations do and consider donating. Oh, and to the only 3 representatives who voted against the animal crush bill in the house, which passed 416-3: Reps. Paul Broun (R-GA), Tom Graves (R-GA) and Ron Paul (R-TX), you deserve much worse than coal in your stockings!

Here’s hoping that 2011 sees even more victories for animals!
